BACON WRAPPED WATER CHESTNUTS
COOK MODEIngredients
- 2 cans water chestnuts whole, peeled
- 1 lb. Bacon cut in half
Sauce
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1/2 C ketchup
- 1 1/2 Tbs soy sauce
Instructions
- Combine sauce ingredients in pan. Cook on stove until well blended & sugar dissolves.
- Wrap bacon around chestnuts and secure with toothpick. Place in a 9×13 pan with sauce. Marinade 3-4 hours covered and refrigerated. Remove from 9×13, place on cookie sheet; broil until bacon sizzles and turn on side to cook bottom.
