Frosted Banana Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter Softened
  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Mashed Banana

FROSTING

  • 1 8oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 Cup Butter Softened
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 3/4-4 Cups Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar
  • Add eggs, sour cream, & vanilla
  • Combine flour, baking soda, & salt; gradually add to creamed mixture
  • Stir in bananas
  • Spread into a greased 15inx10inx1in baking pan. Bake @ 350° for 20-25 min or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool

Frosting

  • In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla
  • Gradually beat in enough confectioners sugar to achieve desired consistency
  • Frost bars
  • Store in refrigerator
  • Yield 3-4 dozen
