CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE

COOK MODE

Ingredients

Step 1

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar

Step 2

  • 2 eggs

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 teas baking soda
  • 1 teas baking powder
  • 1/2 teas salt
  • 2 cups flour

Add on

  • 1 cup sour cream

Final Step

  • 1 16oz whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 teas Almond Extract
  • 1/2 cup pecans— chopped (optional)

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 teas warm water
  • 1/2 teas Almond Extract

Instructions

Step 1

  • Cream butter and sugar. Mix well.

Step 2

  • Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well.

Dry Ingredients

  • Mix together.

Add on

    • Add dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mixture. Alternating flour and sour cream. Mix well.

    Final Step

    • Spoon 1/3 of batter into greased 9×13 pan. Then dot with 1/3 can cranberries. Repeat.
      Sprinkle nuts on top.
      Bake @ 350F for 45 mins or till done.

    Glaze

    • Mix together and spread on warm coffee cake.
